Sifton asks Londoners to Pack the Park for The Sunshine Foundation

Sifton Properties Limited is teaming up with the London Majors to make dreams a reality for sick and disabled children. On Sunday, June 12, Londoners are invited to Pack the Park by filling the 5,200-seat Labatt Memorial Park in support of The Sunshine Foundation of Canada – a charity dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of children challenged by severe physical disabilities or life-threatening illnesses.
“London Majors bring world-class baseball to one of Canada’s most historic sports venues,” says Mike Riffel,
Vice President of Commercial Leasing at Sifton Properties Limited. “There’s nothing like the excitement that
comes with the game day experience, especially when it’s in support of a great charity like The Sunshine
Foundation.”
First launched last year, Pack the Park is a joint effort between Sifton Properties Limited and the London
Majors to fill Labatt Memorial Park in support of local charities. This year, The Sunshine Foundation of
Canada will receive a portion of all ticket sales.
“It’s an honour that Sifton asked us to be their charity partner this year. Through proceeds from Pack the
Park, these children will have experiences to last a lifetime,” says Andre Motuzas, National Director of Fund
Development at The Sunshine Foundation of Canada.
As a challenge to London businesses, any company that purchases or sells the most tickets will receive a VIP
package for a post-game dinner, limo ride to the game, first pitch from home plate and other exclusives.
Guests can also take part in exciting game day prizes, including a 50-50 draw and silent auction to help raise
additional funds.
A proud supporter of local community initiatives, London Majors jumped at the opportunity to again take
part in Pack the Park.
