RiverBend Welcomes New Head Pro

Sifton Properties Limited and RiverBend Golf Community are pleased to welcome Marty Weber as Head Golf Professional.

Marty will be joining RiverBend Golf Community on January 17, 2011, bringing with him a wealth of experience and 24 years as a CPGA Golf Professional. His career started at Sunningdale Golf & Country Club in 1987, and after spending time at both Greenhills and Huron Oaks Golf Club, Marty joined the team at Kleinburg Golf Club. Over fifteen years, Marty held the positions of Director of Golf Operations and General Manager.

At RiverBend Golf Community, Marty will lead the ProShop team and work alongside the Community management team to ensure the highest resident, member and guest satisfaction in all areas of the RiverBend golf lifestyle. "We are very excited to have Marty join our team at RiverBend”, says Simon Bevan, RiverBend Community Manager. “His experience, skill set and knowledge of the golf business will benefit not only the golf operations team, but the entire Community.”

Marty’s extensive experience at all golf club levels, his teamwork philosophy, and a demonstrated focus on customer relationships, will make him a great asset to the RiverBend team. Marty has a proven track record in the area of customer satisfaction and retention, leading his past team to their first 5-star rating for customer service. Marty takes pride in his talent for developing targeted programs for golfers of all levels, and we look forward to his ability to work alongside membership committees to develop programs that are mutually beneficial to both members and the Club.
